Overview
Computelab.co gives you code that runs right and fast on any chip. Proved on real hardware. Kept working.
The Compute Optimization Engine is the full compute environment, from firmware to kernels, on any chip. It covers firmware and BIOS, board bring-up, drivers and runtimes, OS and kernel tuning, network and interconnect, power and thermal, compilers, kernels and host systems code.
It checks firmware provenance, rechecks every firmware release, reads OpenBMC and Redfish telemetry, and runs sustained thermal tests.
You connect your repo, CI, cloud and machines. The Engine runs the workflow and returns a merged pull request, a signed proof pack and an installable artifact. Then it keeps watching. Expert reviewers from HPC and high-frequency trading are built into the pipeline.
These products run inside the Engine.
- Trace ranks kernels by share of compute time.
- Search brings back proven fixes with cited chip manual pages.
- Verify returns a signed pass or fail on the real chip.
- Green Computing reports energy per accepted result.
Install
Install the CLI with one line. It runs on Linux, macOS and Windows.
curl -fsSL https://computelab.co/install.sh | sh
irm https://computelab.co/install.ps1 | iex
Then run computelab fix inside your repo. The CLI connects your repo and target chip and opens your first job.
Quickstart
Run one command in your repo. The terminal agent opens a job, and the result comes back as one grouped pull request.
$ computelab login $ computelab fix kernels/attn_fwd.cu --chip MI300X intake 6 questions answered, acceptance contract agreed job cl_7a12 opened PASS signed proof pack attached PR #214 one grouped pull request ready to merge
Or install the GitHub App and add a label to an issue. The label opens the job.
# on issue #88 label added slow on MI300X computelab job cl_7a40 opened from label computelab PASS, kernel gain and application gain reported computelab PR #219 opened, you click merge
Connect your agent to the MCP server. Set a cost cap per task and call verify on any candidate.
tool computelab.verify { "kernel": "attn_fwd.hip", "chip": "MI300X", "reference": "fp64", "max_cost_usd": 5 } PASS signed ed25519 proof: vj_3c90.pack
API
The REST API offers the same jobs as the CLI, with a cost cap per task. Batch submission from CI sends many candidates at once.
CI connectors
Connectors for Buildkite, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Slack, Prometheus, Grafana and Terraform. The CI gate warns first and blocks only when you choose.
Proof packs
Every pass comes as an Ed25519 signed proof pack with an offline verify script and a shareable "Verified by Computelab.co" result page.
Deployment modes
Four modes. Our cloud, your cloud account, self-hosted, or air gapped. Each job runs in one sealed container with the network off, no root and your repo mounted read only.
